GAGIK BEGLARYAN
Born on January 01, 1964 in the city of Yerevan.
In 1971-78 - Secondary school N33 after M. Nalbandyan.
In 1978-81 - Physic-mathematical school of Yerevan State University.
In 1981-85 - Yerevan State Institute of Economy, specialty of economist.
In 1985-86 - Service in the Armed Forces of the USSR.
In 1993 - Elected the deputy of the first convocation of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2002 - Head of Kentron Community of Yerevan city.
In 2005 and 2008 -was re-elected as the head of Kentron Community.
By Presidential decree N NH-58-A dated 04.03. 2009 was appointed the mayor of Yerevan.
As a result of elections to the Council of the Aldermen conducted on May 31, 2009, he became the first elected mayor of Yerevan.
In 2004 - Made PHD on "Basic Social Problems of Municipal Management of Communities" and got Sociological Sciences' candidate degree.
On 10 November, 2007 (during the 11th congress of RPA) - was elected a member of the board of the Republican party of Armenia.
On 28 November, 2009 (during the 12th congress of RPA) - was elected a member of the Executive body of Republican party of Armenia.
Up to nowadays he is the Honorary president of the intellectuals club "Narek" of Kentron Community.
Married, has two children.
