Hasmik Hovhannissian was born in 1958, in Armenian Republic, in the city Yerevan. In 1978 she graduated from Artistic Institute the faculty of painting as a painter.
She is a member of Artists Union of the Republic of Armenia.
From childhood she has done cgeative work. In 1978-1996 she has taken part in many the Republican, regional and district exhibitions. In 1995 she has taken part in the exhibition-competition of the Armenian painters' pictures which was organized in the office of UNO in Yerevan by UNDP.
She paints especially portraits, landscraps and flowers. She paints with bright colours.
