Anatoli Grigoryan was born in Leninakan (now - Gyumri) 4 June 1941.
He graduated from the Yerevan Art College P. Terlemezyan (1956-1961), then the faculty of painting Yerevan Fine Arts Theatre Institute (1962-1967).
In 1967-1976 he worked as production designer on the studio of the Armenian television and was the art editor of the journal “Hayastani ashkhatavoruhi”.
In 1970 Grigoryan was a meber of Union of Artists of the USSR, in 1977 was elected secretary of the Union of Artists of Armenia, in 1978 – a board member of Union of Artists.
In 1982 he was re-elected secretary of the Union of Artists of Armenia and board member of the Union of Artists.
In 1983 Anatoli Grigoryan was awarded the title of Honoured Artist of Armenian SSR.
Exhibitions and Shows
Since 1965 Anatolo Grigoryan – constant participant of exhibitions organizes in Armenia and abroad. His paintings were exhibited (as in the collective exhibitions, and in solo exhibitions) in Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Austria, India, USA, Finland, France, Germany and other countries.
