In 1998, President Petrosian resigned from office, and Vano Siradeghyan took his place as the leader of the Armenian National Movement. (Political Handbook, 1998)

Aravot Newspaper, was established by Vano Siradeghyan, a member of the ANM (Armenian National Movement) board.
