Manvel Nazaryan was born on April 3, 1958 in Yerevan.
Mr. Nazaryan graduated with a degree in psychology from the Kirk Kirkoryan Yerevan Economics and Law University in 1997.
From 1977-1979 he served in the Soviet Army. From 1979-1982 he was a skilled worker in the Masis Shoe Factory. From 1982-1990 he worked as an instructor in Nairi Automobile Technical Service Unit. From 1990-1994 he was the head of the Hayk-7 Shoe Cooperative Firm. From 2000-2003 he was the deputy head of Use of Buildings and Constructions in Ajapnyak (Yerevan) CJSC.
On May 25, 2003 he was elected to the NA from electoral district # 9 and he is currently on the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs. He is a member of the “People's Deputy” Deputy Group. He has no political party affiliation.
Mr. Nazaryan is married and has one child.
